Police Update - Week 17 2026 |
||
|
Hello Custom House
I hope you're all well and enjoying the sporadic bursts of sunshine.
A quick note before we start. There were two young men on a single electric bike this morning floating around ASDA. I suspect they were looking for phones to snatch. They saw us and sped away in the direction of Royal Docks/Custom House. We jumped in the car and hunted for them but sadly they were long gone. Keep your eyes up and phones tucked away. #LookUpLookOut
Right, lets get on and have a look at what the criminal element of society has been up to on the streets of Custom House this week.
Attempted Robbery 23/04/2026 – Three males have approached a victim from behind in Churchill Road and demanded valuables. They started punching the victim before the robbers ran away empty handed. I’m happy to say that all three males have been arrested. We are currently helping CID link them to numerous other offences in the area. We’ll have to wait and see if this arrest has a positive impact on our crimes.
Drugs 27/04/2026 – A male was stopped on a motorcycle Prince Regent Lane in the early hours. He had no licence or insurance. He was also in possession of Class A and B drugs. More was found at his home address.
Robbery 26/06/2026 - Three Suspects assaulted a victim in Cundy Park and took his phone. Very likely to be the same suspects for the attempted robbery above. We are currently looking for evidence to link them.
Theft 23/04/2026 – Leyes Road Allotments – A handbag went missing from a table and was later found discarded in a bush. 24/04/2026 – Glass panels were removed from Manchester Court in Garvary Road. 26/04/2026 – A suitcase was left unattended in Mortlake Road and was subsequently stolen.
Theft From a Person 25/04/2026 - Cycle enabled phone Snatch in Hallsville Road. No Trace of the suspects.
Theft of Motor vehicle 23/04/2026 – A White Nissan Juke was stolen from Plymouth Road 26/06/2026 – A Grey Ford Transit was stolen from Fords Park Road.
That is everything for this week. If you have any information on any of the above crimes, you can contact me here directly on this platform.
Until Next time Be Good. Have Fun & Stay Safe
